A Study Of Zhang Taiyan 's Thought Of "Provincial Autonomy"

For the early 20 th century, the country had been into a chaos of the current situation because of the warlordism, years of civil war. Mr Zhang than the first proposed Salvation political program called "federalist". In the design of country’s political system architecture,which advocates Western-style local self-esteem and more centrism, strongly opposed to a single system, emphasizing balance and decentralization of state power.The construction of the country should become a federal constitutional democracy. Thinking his "federalist" belongs to Western constitutional theory, with opposition warlords and advertised purpose of the constitutional value of democracy, is a useful exploration for scholars.
