Ideological and theoretical quality is the essential quality of party workers. In the new period, this is the practical demand of insisting and developing the socialism with Chinese characteristics, comprehensively deepening reform and realizing the dream of the rejuvenation of China.Party cadres at the grass-roots level in the universities of science and technology are the implementers and executors of Party’s educational theories, routes and policies and guidelines. They are burdened with the glorious mission of college party construction and ideological work of teachers and students. Therefore, only having higher ideological and theoretical quality can they grasp the essence and demand of the college party construction, can be competent to the work of ideological and political education can make higher education develop along the socialist orientation and foster the qualified and excellent socialist successor.
