Since 2014, the judicial reform has become clear gradually in its direction, with its focus on “Being judged and responsible by judge ”, to achieve the final goal of “making the people feel justice in every judicial case”. Currently, pilot reform programs have been being carried out in the classified personnel management system for the people’s courts and in the uniform personnel, financial and material management system for district courts and procuratorates below the provincial level and have obtained some outstanding achievements. In the current environment of judicial reform, it has become an important content to carry out reform in internal management mechanism of people’s court so as to further promote the process of judicial reform. This paper has, through studying the status of and problems in current internal management mechanism of people’s court and analyzing institutional obstructions and difficulties in reform, clarified the specific contents and steps of reform, and has proposed mainly by research and theoretical analyses that reform in internal management mechanism of people’s court should be divided into three steps, focusing on the separation of judicial and executive powers and taking the optimization of setting and personal of judgment divisions and nonjudgment divisions, the expansion of power of judicial management office and the independence of judicial management as its specific contents.
