Everyday life is an important philosophical question of twentieth century. It is also a field closely relatedwith the survival of each person. Eastern European New Marxism thinkers Agnes Heller and KarelKosik have studied everyday life. Their everyday lifetheories are different on definitions, logical principles, structure and schema theory demands.Heller’s theory of everyday life attempts to construct and promote the historical materialism of Marx’s thoughts with the foundation of everyday life.Kosik’s theory of everyday lifecriticizes unnatural existence state of everyday life with people living in it. At the same time,there are many things in common of Heller’s and Kosik’severyday lifetheories, just like non-subjective and unreflective,criticism of dogmatism and Condition of human existence, and humanitarian appeals of everyday life.In numerous life world theories,Heller’s andKosik’s theories of everyday life are obviously unique, because they have origins of Marxism,with specific social and historical conditions in Eastern Europe and humanitarian values of New Marxism in Eastern Europe. Heller’s and Kosik’s theories of everyday life have shown unique theoretical horizon and humanistic concern of Eastern European New Marxism thinkers’.They also highlights the strong vitality of Marxist ideology in different historical backgrounds.
