A Study Of Mao Zedong 's Educational Thoughts On Peasants

Mao Zedong’s attaches great importance to the education of Chinese farmers, he believes that the issue of farmers education is not only related to the victory of the Chinese revolution, but also related to the future of China’s construction and development. Mao Zedong analyzed the Chinese peasants from the actual situation of the China, he believes that Chinese farmers accounted for the the vast majority of population, on the one hand, they have a very powerful revolutionary forces, on the other hand,because the peasants of the strength of is very dispersed. In addition, they have long been the feudal forces smoked pottery, feudal superstition thought deeply rooted in their hearts, to eliminate their minds in the backward ideas, the unite to become the backbone of the revolution,we must strengthen to farmers ideological and political,cultural and educational,skills and economic construction of education. Only in this way we can make farmers become the main of the revolution and construction.In view of this,this article embarks from the three aspects, the first verse of the first chapter discusses the theoretical source of the formation of Mao Zedong ’s idea on peasant education,expounds the formation of Mao Zedong’ s idea on peasant education not only by the influence of Marxist classical writers’ s idea on Peasant Education,but also by the influence of traditional Chinese culture; the second section discusses Mao Zedong’s idea on peasant education development has mainly experienced the germination, formation mature and continue to develop the four periods,the theory of the content of each period with the conditions of the invariant to enrich and develop. The second chapter is the focus of the article,from the four aspects of the highly summarized the main contents of Mao Zedong ’s idea on peasant education and detailed describes the basic principles of Mao Zedong’ s idea on peasant education. Third,this paper discusses the theoretical and practical significance of Mao Zedong ’s idea on Peasant education,analyzes Mao Zedong’ s idea on peasant education form of history and today’s contribution.
