The mass line is one of the living soul of Mao zedong thought. To carry out the party’s mass line is decided and required by its nature, historical mission, the environment of the revolutionary struggle led by the party and by the implement of the party’s ideological, political and organizational line. During the period of the New-democratic Revolution, in the history of exploring of the Chinese revolutionary road, Mao Zedong applied the Marxist dialectical materialism and historical materialism in the party’s all activities creatively, starting from the party’s nature, aim and guiding ideology, creatively applying the Marxist dialectical materialism and historical materialism in the party’s all activities, then founded and formed the educational thought of the party’s mass line. This paper mainly focus on the research of the educational ways and methods of Mao zedong’s mass line, based on the Chinese revolution practice led by Mao zedong, so as to provide some enlightenment and reference for the current education practice of the party’s mass line.Firstly, the paper mainly discusses Maozedong’s contribution to the education theory to carry out the mass line, which mainly includes the following four aspects: the classic thesis that the masses create the world history; the profound revelation of the nature of relationship between the party and the masses; the specific provision for the goal which the party serves the people and the complete refinement to the education content of the mass line. Secondly, the chapter focuses on the education ways of the mass line such as carrying out the centralized education, establishing the practice mechanism, perfecting the system construction, clearing evaluation system, etc., Which were formed in the practice and exploration. Thirdly, the paper mainly introduces the education methods that Mao zedong carried out the mass line, mainly including the method of indoctrinating belief, the method of propagating and guiding, the method of persuading and educating, the method of demonstrating typically, the method of setting a good example and the method of criticizing and educating. At last, this paper puts forward the contemporary value of the education thought of Maozedong’s mass line. According to the measures which the Chinese communist party represented by Mao Zedong ties closely with the masses during the period of New-democratic Revolution, combined with some unhealthy phenomenon and problems existing currently in some party members and cadres, this thesis puts forward that our party should strengthen the party members and cadres’ faith education, strengthen and improve the party’ leadership, strengthen the construction of the party’s style and a clean government and combat corruption, care about the masses’ life, improve people’s livelihood and establish a democratic supervision mechanism.When engaged in the research of this topic, the author has deep insight into the education thought of MAO zedong’s mass line during the new-democratic revolution period through reading it carefully. The following are the three of the most profound ideas: Firstly, the party should clear their own service object and relying object; Secondly, the party should always concern about people’s life, safeguard social fairness and justice; Thirdly, the party should practice the people’s power supervision of the leading cadres.
