Soviet Union installed offensive weapons in Cuba in order to reverse the nuclear disadvantage and dominate the world along with the United States, which did a huge threat to the United States in the 1960’s. The two countries put the world in the unprecedented danger of nuclear annihilation in the process of solving the Cuban missile crisis. Luckily, the Cuban missile crisis got resolved quickly because of the compromise between the United States and the Soviet Union at this critical moment. Although, the Cuban missile crisis has produced profound influence to the international community, promoted the process of peace of the international community. This article maintains four parts, expounded and analyzed the Cuban missile crisis through the Cuban revolution.The first part introduces the historical background of the Cuban missile crisis. After the second world war, the United States and the Soviet union began to in the process of the cold war, during which there were formed the socialism and capitalism. The two camps conducted a series of struggle about the German and Berlin problem, but neither of them were resolved. After the Cuban revolution, Cuba got sanctions from the United States because Castro has made some radical measures which caused dissatisfaction of the USA, so Cuba turned into the Soviet union’s side in order to get rid of the dilemma. The Soviet installed offensive weapons in Cuba, and it caused a fight between the USA and the Soviet in Latin America, that is the reason why the Cuban missile crisis broke out.The second part emphatically tells how the Cuban missile crisis broke out The United States’ continuous pressure and threats made Cuba finally turned into the Soviet Union, established friendly relationship with the Soviet and seek military aid and protection from the Soviet. In order to make the United States compromised in the Germany problem and seek the nuclear balance, Khrushchev settled the medium-range missiles in Cuba. Intelligence agencies in the United States found the medium-range missiles in Cuba, they held a series of meetings during a week, looking for the methods of solving the crisis. The final decision was to force the Soviet to remove the missiles by isolation measures. The crisis broke out.The third part expounds the solution of the Cuban missile crisis. Kennedy and Khrushchev solved the Cuban missile crisis perfectly using their wits and bargaining, saved the world from the nuclear war.The fourth part is about the influence and lessons we learn from the Cuban missile crisis. Analysis the impact on Cuba、on the relationship between the United States and its Allies and between the Soviet union and its Allies, especially on the international situation of the crisis. At the same time, it also summarizes the experiences and lessons from the Cuban missile crisis, especially learn to calm and ingenious when dealing with foreign relationships.
