National Endowment for Democracy(abbr.NED), it is the “Big Boss” among the American based International Non-profit Organization. It was found because of the President Reagan’s “Democracy Plan” for his diplomatic need, and yet NED did a great job. Due to the excellent work done by NED, the US government take its diplomatic suggestion seriously and speak highly of its role in implementing US foreign policy. Burma(Myanmar) has its own distinctiveness and importance according to its vital geo-location and abundant natural resources. Burma is an important session in US diplomatic strategy, and the long-time rigid relationship between them will affect the US pivot. Thus as an International Non-profit Organization, NED contributed a lot in moderating relationship and implementing the US-Burma policy.NED`s fund programs to Burma are wide in rage, large in quantity, high in amount and also close to ordinary people’s life. Via funding NOGs and independent media, NED built good foundation for moderating US-Burma relationship. This article will take Democratic Voice of Burma for example to illustrate how NED propaganda the US freedom and democracy values, and influenced young generation to build a bottom-up democratic system by supporting exile media to improve the information transparency in Burma. By doing this to promote the democratization in Burma and create a better social society for US-Burma diplomatic relationship.
