Since 1988, The China-burma Economic Cooperation Research

This article analyze the feasibilities of the Sino-Myanmar economic cooperation in the industrial foundation of international economic cooperation and the environment in which China and Myanmar launch economic cooperation .The article also reviewed the situation of Sino-Myanmar economic cooperation since 1988 from following aspects: foreign trade, Sino-Myanmar economic and technological cooperation, China contracting labor services cooperation with Myanmar, investment in Myanmar, and substitutive plants for opium poppy. On the basis , the article analyze the problems that exist in the Sino-Myanmar cooperation. By this ,we can know :it is inevitable and feasible that China and Myanmar launch economic cooperation.The cooperation is beneficial to the economical development of both sides .The cooperation has great historic significance .Further ,the article expound the prospect to develop Sino-Myanmar economic cooperation in new period .At last ,author also come up with the suggestion about how to develop the Sino-Myanmar economic cooperation.
