| Marx and Engles were the founders of scientific socialism. They predicted thatpub1ic ownership would be put into practice in the future society. Lenin, the builder ofthe first socialist country, combined Marxism with the facts of Russia and put forwardtwo forms of public ownership. Not only Marx and Engles but also Lenin reached theirconclusions on the basis of productive force. Stalin founded the ownership by thewhoe people and collective ownership and dogmatized collective ownership must beupgraded to the ownership by the whole people. The above is the historical back-ground of the CPC's probing into Chinese socialist ownership.According to the changes of the structure of socialist ownership, the probing canbe divided into three stages: (1)The main body place of public ownership was estab-lished and the structure of socialist ownership was diversified at first (1949. 10 -1957 ). (2)Socialist ownership was changed, adjusted and sealed finally (1958 - 1978.12). (3) The foundermental economic system has been formed that public ownership isthe main body and many sorts of ownership economics develop in common(1978. 12 -1997. 9)The winding course was pregnant with rich experience. To probe into socialistownership, we must steadily emancipate our minds and seek truth from the facts. Wemust firmly adhere to the main body place of the public ownership and stick to theleadership of the CPC. We must understand non - public ownership is not opposite andsupplement but important part of socialist market economic and must develop it in pri-mary stage of socialism. Our probing must be favorable to develop productive force,improve the standard of people's life and enhance synthetical nation power.The CPC's probing breaks through traditional conception of socialist ownershipand develops Marxism's ownership theory. It will be useful to speed up the restruc-turing of economic systems and realize modernization in China and promote socialismdeveloping in the world. |
