The expressway Passenger transportation, which takes expressways and express Vehicles as its material basis, is displaying good social and economic benefits. At the. some time there exist many new problems that call for further studies. In this thesis, the writer introduces the present development of Liaoning province highway.passenger transportation. The writer pay more attention to study of construction of highway and expressway, functions and present development of transportation stations, present development of transportation vehicles and transportation company, present development of service and transportation arrangement and management. Analyzes the problems in the course of its development. Study the reason of passenger source emerged, the key factors which influence passenger source, the tendency of passenger source changes. On the basis of careful study of the laws of passenger choices for the transportation means, the writer holds that the advantage of expressway passenger transportation lies in its convenience and rapidness, and at the same time good service, comfortableness and safety are also very important. The paper also discusses the necessity that the running of expressway passenger transportation should be intensive. The writer compares running models of expressway passenger transportation in China. On the basis of the study, puts forward the preliminary schemes for the intensive running of expressway passenger transportation of Liaoning province. The writer also introduces the present operation of intensive running of expressway passenger transportation in Liaoning. Puts forward the goaland tactics of development of expressway passenger transportation intensiverunning in Liaoning.
