The competition of international market has been more and more intensified, the differences in the demands of consumers have been more and more obvious, and the pressure that the market had brought to manufacturers has been extended tremendously. Dalian Brook Crompton was founded just under this background. As the beginning of the J/V, the company encountered serious problems. Such as: how to improve management level to meet international standard; how to cut cost to make the products more competitive in the market; and how to improve the images of products and services among customers so that we can get better market share. Business Process Reengineering is the way for the company to solve those problems mentioned above. Therefore, the implementation of BPR theory will influence the company's development.The essay introduced BPR theory, including thorough analysis on the realities of Dalian Brook Crompton, through 4 sections. BPR theory: introduces the production, the development, andthe utility condition of the BPR's theory. The methods used through this essay: emphasizes on how tocomply with this theory in the reality in detail. Investigation, analysis, and implementation of BPR in thiscompany: emphasizes on the company's condition, analysis ofthe problem, and implementation of BPR. Comments on the effects of the Process Reengineering: commentson the management effects, social effects and economicaleffects of implementation.On the basis of studying a lot of materials on the subject, using the BPR theory throughout, the essay is intended to integrate the BPR theory with realities in the company. It was drawn from the vast amount of investigation of the current situation in the company and, hopefully, it will be valuable for the company as to improve the management level, cut cost and satisfy the company's customers better.
