| In present the Thermistor Factory of Chengdu Hongming Electronic Industrial general corporation is a thermistor factory with the largest production capability of our country, in only which both PTC and NTC semiconductive thermistors can be developed and produced simultaneously.In "95" plan, the National Information Industrial Ministry puts forward that, taking this factory as the main body and establishing a domestic thermistor production base, the general corporation ranks the thermistor as one of three projects "hundrede million yuan" in product development strategy.After high speed advance during the initial stage and middle stage of 1990 years, in recent 2 years, the single leading product excessively depends on the colour TV markets with undue competition and the local production base of domestic colour TV sets is moved from south western China and eastern China to province Guangdong step by step, in addition to vicious competition between the factories of the same trade on the colour TV market. At same times, due to the fact that product development velocity of the enterprise is not satisfactory to the need of market advance, the production capability of the enterprise is not brought into full play, and it has been in heavy debt for technical renovating investment, therefor its sales income is hesitated at about 20 million yuan. In 1999, the loss is incurred even in the internal accounting. Through investigation study and analysis, the author considerss: the thermistors, such new electronic componts, are a fundamental product of information industry, and one of the major development projects of national information industry. This industry is a rising industry in the world, and is in a high-speed rising period, but it is a childish industry in China. Though at present, there are research and production units of thermistor more than 150 in China, but output, variety and quility of thermistors can't satisfy the needs of the domestic market. Because the domestic factories of electronic equipments could purchase the thermistor over all world, the market is yet one's of the buying party, and competition becomes internationalized. The markets of high grade products are monopolized by large foreign corporations. The domestic enterprises of the same trade take vicious competition on the market of current products and of low-grade products. Because of low-priced raw materials and cheep labour in China, so long as key technical problems are resolved as for some products urgently needed by the market, any domestic enterprise can make the batch supply, can accomplish the high speed advance and can obtain the high profit.In order to accomplish the strategy objective of the general corporation and change the present dificult operation situation of our enterprise, in addition to strengthening the internal administration of enterprise, strengthening the market opening, and rapidly recalling the payment for goods etc, we must adhere to going along the way of technology renovating, developing the new products, opening the new market, taking the market as leading direction, and formulating the technical renovating strategy.After investigation study and analysis of market needs, profession situation, competition state and technical development state, we consider: Telecommunication such as programm control exchange needs the chip, soldering type PTC thermistor for overcurrent protection. For mobile phones, the needs of chip NTC thermistor are rapidly advanced, and its market prospect is very good, but at present no any factory begins to develop and produce this product in China. The high precision NTC temperature sensor with very high additional value has extremely great developing potentialities because the air conditioner has a large expanding space in China.
