Population aging is the objective law of social development , and it is not changed with man?s will. The 21st century is the century of population aging and one of the most difficult problems will be the population aging. Therefore, it is vey improtant that how to establish an age security system which heads with old ?age pension, medi- cal and health care and nursing problems. The body includes three parts. First it gives a survey to Japan?s social security system is facing up: Population aging burdens the sicial security system; The change of employ policy and family structure cutbacks the security function of enterpriseand family; Children ?lacking and population aging coexist; Economy depression takes pressure on social security system. In order to resolve the above problems and adapt with the population aging, Japan makes a reform on the basis of social security sy- sytem. It is just the important part the paper wants to show. The reform of old ?age in- surance system begins with the two sides of unhanding and stinting and makes an an- swering change of public pension and persond pension . The contents of the reform of medical insurance system, the execution of nursing insurance system , sets up a con- vinent, fair and efficient aid system for the aged pelple. The reform of social security system is called ihe world level problem ? And all the countries are exploring it. Japan is the countty whose aged people grows fastest among the developped countries and has made a proper reform to social security system. Facing up our increasing acute population aging, hope that we can get some experience reference through the analysis to Jopan?s reform of social security system...
