This essay contains 2 parts. In Social Security for Aging population,we explores the relationship of population aging and welfare status of the household. In an economy where population is aging, household faces a path of factor prices and housing prices different from in the stationary economy. This paper quantitatively explores the welfare effect of an alternative social security arrangement in an aging economy. We find that reducing the size of social security system induces more welfare gain for the aging population than for households in the stationary economy. The reason for the difference is that social security, serves as mandatory saving for retirement, reduces disposable income. Thus,it prevents households from acquiring a better consumption pattern, which is more important for the aging population. In MPI and Large Scale Overlapping Generation Models,we discuss MPI and its usage in the computation fof the equilibrium path of the large-scale overlapping generation model.Specifically,we proposed an parallel algorithms for the computation of the model in Part 2.The algorithms uses MPI(Message Passing Interface)to paralell the computation in a computer cluster.Computation is then partitioned into several parts and assigned on every node in the cluster. The computation burden is then reduced to an satisfactory level, which guarantees the success of finding the equilibrium path.
