The article shows author's attempts to analyze the intimate relationship between the countryside public understanding of science and the sustainable development of Agriculture.Guiding by the systematic thought and methods, the paper defines the countryside public understanding of science which originates from the traditional countryside popularization of science but surpasses it, and puts the agriculture in Human Province and the USA as examples to prove that the countryside public understanding of science is the essential way to achieve the sustainable development of agriculture.Thinking of all the researches above, the article puts forwards a series of constructive suggestions and measures to enforce the work of countryside public understanding of science in order to realize sustainable development of agriculture.
