As a strategy of agriculture development, sustainable agriculture emphasizes rational utilization and effective protection of ecological environment and arouses attention of governments and academe field. Because of the strong regional attribute of China's agriculture, there are so many obvious differences between different regions, it is required to make research aiming at natural resource and production condition. So it is needed to set up a set of evaluation method of sustainable development of regional agriculture to research on different regions.This paper begins with recommend of present researches and theories domestically and abroad of sustainable development of agriculture. By analyzing theories of sustainable development and sustainable development of agriculture from the view of economics, gets the factors that have influence on sustainable agriculture such as systems and resource. Then on the base of analyzing and using present researches for reference this paper sets up a set of evaluation index system for sustainable development of regional agriculture and makes a systematic analysis and research on the method of synthetical evaluation and weighting. After pointing out the shortcoming of AHP method in weighting ,the paper recommends a new method of subjectively weighting ——G1 method and introduces its principle and course of weighting with an example. Finally the paper sets up a new kind of synthetical evaluation method of sustainable development level of regional agriculture in order to provide train of thought and reference for the synthetical evaluation and comparison of sustainable development level of different regional agriculture.
