| Investment Fund is just unfolding in the world now. Its vigorous development makes a notable impact on financial market and whole economy of the world. The establishment of China securities market is short, and investment funds are newly emerging things, but they are necessities for the development of China securities market. This paper overall analyzes and appraises the working state of investment funds that were established after the publication of 揑nvestment Fund management provisional measures? The paper consists of four parts: The first chapter mainly describes and analyzes the overall state of China securities market and investment fund market. The main contents conclude: the meaning, characters and classifications of investment fund; the characters and problems of China securities market; the affects of investment fund in China securities market; the evolution and the present situation of Chinese investment funds. The second chapter summarizes some characters of Chinese investment fund, mainly conclude: characters of classifications, investment styles, scale, watch and control, competition of industry etc. The third chapter overall appraises Chinese investment fund.
