Shenyang Region Evolution In Urban Industrial Structure Optimized

After the development in the past 50 years, lots of projects were built in Chinese Northeast since China was founded, and several industrial bases were established. Along with the system alteration from the planned economy to the market economy, the disadvantage of the heavy industry resulting from the traditional system of the old industrial base emerged gradually after the reform and open. As the old industrial base in China and the center city of northeast, Shenyang is a typical outcome of the planned economy system and has the problems that also exist widely in the other old industrial bases in northeast. To put the study focus on Shenyang can provide the reference scheme to settle the problems in terms of industrial economy in the whole northeast region. This thesis enters into the optimization of the industrial structure in Shenyang from Geographic aspect. Basing on the industrial location theory, different industrial location theories were adapted according to temporal order, such as classic and modern. This thesis expatiates on the reasons for the alteration of industrial location of Shenyang and combines static and qualitative analysis with dynamic and quantitative analysis respectively to explain the altering process of industrial structure in Shenyang, then validates the opinion of region economic geography that department structure is the main substance content of economic region while spatial structure is the representative form of economic region through compare and analysis by combining the industrial region with the industrial structure in Shenyang. And then basing on this the following opinions can be concluded: the relationship between different type of industrial location and industrial structure; Hi-tech industry can accelerate the upgrade of the industrial structure and the alteration of the industrial spatial structure; connotation is developed primarily in the traditional industry of the old industrial area while the extension function is inconspicuous; the industry substitute and the upgrade of industrial structure of the city takes place after the vanishing of the location of the decadent middle/small-scaled enterprises; the upgrade of the industrial structure rests with the renovation of the product structure and the technology structure in the process of the removal of the enterprise from the downtown to the suburb. In the thesis, some opinions are brought forwardpurposefully to settle the problems, such as the optimization of the relationship between leading industrial location and industrial structure, the re-exploiture of the old industry area in the city, etc. Finally, it is concluded synoptically that the special rules for the evolvement of the industry area in the cities of China and the relationship between the alteration of industry region in the city and the course of the industrialization.
