Taking Wuxi City as an example, with the help of the basic theory and practice of urban industrial distribution and its adjustment of megacities at home and abroad, the dissertation studies the basic pattern of industrial distribution and its adjustment in the transition period from big city to megacity during the fast urbanization. It will provide reference and guidance for the construction of megacities in transition period in China. On the basis of the evolutive law of international and domestic industrial distribution of megacities and advanced technology of Remote Sense, the dissertation analyzes the difference of the spatial expansion in Wuxi City, and predicts the expanding directions by mathematical model. According to it, the author puts forward the spatial structure of urban industrial distribution and its adjustment. Firstly, the distributing structure of # type, which contains six development bands, is imagined in the region of Wuxi . The six bands will put the whole region and downtown together firmly. Secondly, the framework of megacity-one core and double stars emphasizes the downtown development and also directs the spatial expansion. Thirdly, Industrial Parallel Axial Distribution: northern manufacture axis, middle general axis and southern ecological axis, reflects the constructing idea of the human-oriented. Fourthly, agglomeration distribution of downtown attaches importance to the key function of the center agglomeration and independent function of other agglomerations. Finally, the dissertation expounds the location of the industrial distribution of the secondary and tertiary industry. And considering the existing situation in Wuxi, the dissertation comes up with some countermeasures and suggestions to solve them.
