Study Of Modern Commercial Banking System

According to the law of the People's Republic of China on Commercial Banks, the Chinese commercial banks are managed on decentralized system. The thesis studies the development trend of modern commercial bank management system from the changes of the world commercial bank. And combined with the present situation of Chinese commercial bank industry, it proves that decentralization is just an interim measure and they should transform to universal banks progressively.The thesis is divided into four chapters:Chapter 1: The Changes of Modem Commercial Bank Management SystemThe formation of modern commercial bank management system can find its theoretical and systematic bases. In studying the main western developed counties, the changes have two ways: one is American Leap Style, i.e. universe-decentralization-universe. The other is German Straight Style, i.e. universe-universe-universe. The diversification style is the mainstream of the world.Chapter 2: the trend of modern commercial bank management system transferring from decentralization to universal.The diversification has become a trend. Comparing the universal style, and studying the reasons why modem commercial banks' changes towards universe, the chapter raised that the commercial bank management system should rely on a country's economy and financial development in given stage. The universe style is more favorable than decentralization in exerting policy efficiency .Chapter 3: Comments on China's decentralized management system By studying the formation background, the process and the practical effect of China's decentralized management system and analyzing the existing contradiction between the system itself and China's economy and financial conditions, the chapter puts forward that the decentralized system should be an interim measure thereby.Chapter 4: Option of China's commercial bank management system The significance of the universe style in China is analyzed in this chapter. It puts forward that the system of changing from decentralization to syntheses, and progressively to diversification is the best option . The system bases of universe of Chinese commercial bank should be built and the tactics of universe should be put forward as well.
