Trade Secrets Legal Protection

Trade secret includes technology information and management information that should be secret, valuable and original. Protection of trade secret is beneficial not only to the development of innovation results, but also to the promotion of work relations and competition environments. Trade secret would enrich the content of the intellectual property law greatly. The TRIPs of WTO has clearly channeled trade secret into its protection range. In our country, it is still a new task to protect trade secret. The five parts of this lecture discuss the definition of trade secret; the range and the necessary conditions of trade secret; trade secret tort; the relieve of tort and some suggestions in building our own trade secret law. I hope it would be useful to our trade secret legal system and the judicature practices.
