Cohesion Of Contemporary Social Transformation Of The Chinese Nation

The competition in term of overall national strength is becoming increasing fierce among countries in contemporary world.National cohesion plays more and more important role in the course of enhancing the comprehensive national strength of its own.Now China is undergoing the social transformation from tradition to modernization .People have different understandings about the national cohesion of China.How to understand correctly the factors that influence the cohesion of Chinese people in the social transformation is a vital topic in front of us. This thesis, based on the historical development of Chinese people' s cohesion, analyzes some positive and negative factors that influence Chinese people's cohesion and explores the main ways to strengthen it under" the transformational period of contemporary society. This thesis consists of four parts:The first part dwells on the historical development and contemporary manifestation of the Chinese people's cohesion. Chinese people' s cohesion is of long standing. In ancient times, people had the ideology of persuing unity and harmony coherence which had developed in the course of anti-imperialist and anti-feudal struggle. Chinese people' s cohesion has obtained great development in the modern socialist construction .The second part analyzes the chief factors of promoting the Chinese people's cohesion under the transformational.period of contemporary society, which are enhancing of economic power, strengthening of military power, the correct leadership of theCommunist Party of China , the common ideal and belief and excellent traditional culture.The third part studies some negative factors of influencing the contemporary Chinese people's cohesion. Some factors of weakening the Chinese People's cohesion exist in the complicated conditions of the domestic and abroad. Those elements reflect in three main fields: economic field, political field and ideology culture field.The fourth part explores some ways to enhance the Chinese people' s cohesion under the transformational period of contemporary society. We should go on improving the socialist market system and developing productive forces, attach importance to reinforce the construction of democracy and law and fight against corruption, all along hold high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory, elaborate the basic role of education during strengthening the Chinese people' s cohesion. So it can develop forward continuously.
