On Network Copyright System

Since the end of last century, network has been popularizing in the whole world. Till now, network appears in every corner of our lives. On one hand, network improves our lives greatly. On the other hand, it violently challenges the present legal system. One of the important challenged fields is the copyright field of intellectual property. Facing the challenge, most countries of the world have yet adjusted. Made up the copyrights legal system on network of their own countries.Basing on the legislation of some representative countries in the world, this thesis analysizes' the network copyright system.The whole thesis is made up of an introductory part and four subject-oriented parts, with approximately 25,000 words in aggregate.The introductory part brief introduces the popularizing condition of Internet, and points out that Internet challenges many legal fields, including copyright field. The present law should be adjusted to protect the network copyright. In the first chapter, the author firstly makes a legal analysis of network and network works, then points out the new characters of network works contrasting to traditional works. The second chapter introduces the legislation condition about network copyright of some representative countries and organizations in the world. Basing on the introduced legislation, the author gives an introduction and analysis of some rights with internet characteristic. In the third chapter, the author points out that the copyright should be limited to some degree in order to protect the benefits of the public. In the last chapter, the author at first introduces the tort acts to network copyright, and finalizes the civil, administrative and criminal remedy to the tort acts.
