Selection Of Regional And Industrial Utilization Of Foreign Capital In The Western Region

The economy of the west of China is developing well. It must be more vigorous by obtained foreign capital. How to make foreign capital be more effective for the west of China is an important problem for us. Foreign capital is not the fund of helping the poor. It must observe market rule. So the choice of region and industry for foreign capital investment in west of China is necessary.It is true the present conditions of using foreign capital in west of China have been improved. But it still exist many problems on using foreign capital in west of China. So we must select the region and industry to raise the efficiency of using foreign capital in west of China. Besides the practical reasons, it has theory basis. According to "growth pole" theory and push-by-step theory, I have made the theory frame of my thesis. On the basis of the reality condition in west of China, it revolves around "growth pole" theory to select some important regions and industries being region growth poles and industry growth poles respectively. These region growth poles and industries growth poles will be developed preferentially by using foreign capital. Then these "growth poles" will bring along the other regions nearby and relevant industries to develop fast. So gradually the whole west of China will be more prosperous.
