Joining Wto On China's Banking Industry And Countermeasures

Globalization and integration of economy is unreverse tides and natural laws. As a international organizaion, WTO effects on cutting in customs, restricting non-tariff barriers and promoting freedom of international trade and economic integration. The reason of entry to WTO is that it will promote China's economic development greatly. Entering into WTO will exert a profound influence on our economics, especially Chinese banking. The thesis mainly discusses the problems on the entry into WTO and the influences and countermeasures of China's banking.The thesis Is composed of four parts. The first chapter introduces the origin of WTO and some essential rules about financial service. Then the author analyzes the situations of the openness of China's banking and the business of foreign capital banks. The second chapter compares the China's ability of competition with foreign capital banks' by analyzing amount, composition and efficiency, so that we can know clearly the disparity between Chinese banks and foreign banks. The third chapter dwells on challenges and opportunities for China's banking after China's entry into WTO. In the fourth chapter, the author expounds how to deal with the challenges of foreign banks in banking system, financial supervisition, business development and talent competition. By quickening development and reform, China will keep up with the world shortly, so China's banking will finally vanquish foreign banking.
