Applied main enterprises M&A theories of western Economics, the article makes analysis of external environments which our pharmaceutical enterprises are now facing to and these enterprises present situations with product characteristics. Demonstrates pharmaceutical enterprises merger & acquisition based on product strategy can improve products competitive advantage and creativity; can optimize product structure; can promote product marketing, in the end can increase enterprises capacity of competition. The article points out that our pharmaceutical enterprises should positively take part in merger and acquisition to enlarge enterprises scale and to centralize pharmaceutical production, in order that our enterprises can suit the changed situations and can meet head on pharmaceutical enterprises all over the world. With the point the article analysis the case of M&A about the Beijing Double-Crane Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd.
