At the turn of the century, with the development of economy and the improvement of living standard, more and more attention has been paid, in China, to physical appearances. In modern society, people have to be in high spirits to face their work and life. Meanwhile, they will unavoidably feel teary because of fierce competition. People begin to realize that the proper attitude towards life is to try to adapt to the society and to enjoy the life. Thereafter beauty treatment springs up and becomes a new industry. Even though in the past twenty years of its development it got no financial aid from levels of government or even social approval, it turns to be one of the most highly developed industries in China. On the other hand, problems arise in this industry, especially in beauty parlors. These problems, including lack of professional and systematic knowledge of management and sales, impede the progress of beauty treatment, ffhat makes it worse is the challenge of foreign famed beauty enterprises and services, which has come, or will come to China since the entrance of China into WTO. So it is necessary and important to make research on the problems existing in China's beauty industry for the solution. The paper aims to a better knowledge of beauty parlor workers of their service, and an effective management and sale of their service products. This study is done by way of personal visits and questionnaires, personal experiences and observation, mathematical statistics and contrastive analysis. Based on the analysis of the status quo and market surroundings of beauty parlors in our country, this paper puts forward a new idea of beauty parlor service and sales, then-analyzes -the formation and characteristics of beauty parlor service products and the building factors of beauty parlor sales system, and finally focuses on the sales strategies of visible, skillful and normal service for the aim of the enhancement of sales ability and competence of the beauty parlors of our country.
