The content of this article is to study the green barriers in trade and find the suitable green marketing strategies for Chinese enterprises in the fierce international competitive environment.Chapter I gives a brief introduction of green barriers. Since the environmental problems have increasingly become a hot point in the social and economical fields in the world, some western countries set environmental protection measures on their imports, and at the same time try to protect the competitive ability of their domestic products. Under the above situation, the green barriers become one of the main non-tariff trade barriers.In chapter II the author tries to explain that, because of the limitation of our economy, technology and scientific development, China will suffer more negative influences by the green barriers. So for the Chinese Enterprises have to breakthrough the green barriers and promote their competition in the international market. Chapter III and IV focus on the introduction of green marketing and its characteristics. The author also points out that owing to the weakness of our country's foundation of green marketing, Chinese enterprises have to face various obstacles when they implement green marketing strategies at present.Chapter V provides detailed analysis of the successful green strategies of China Processed Food Import and Export Company Ltd.. Through this case, the author wants to emphasize that the key countermeasure on green barrier for Chinese enterprises is to adjust their strategies and immediately take green marketing measures since they have to face more and more green barriers on the international trade.The author brings up her viewpoint in the end of this thesis that the concerned Chinese enterprises should recognize the pros and cons of green barriers. First, we should immediately take green marketing strategies to deal with the negative influence brought by green barriers, and positively join into international dialogue and international competition. On the other hand, the green environmental protection is also the direction our country is following. We should take chance to make adjustment in our industrial structure so as to make a healthy and long-lasting economic development.
