International Anti-dumping Revelation

Nowadays, dumping and antidumping that derived from Mercantilism period are becoming more and more popular in the fiercely competitive international market. Moreover, China is the biggest victim involved in improper use of antidumping. It's a practical issue to reflect on how to make aware of China's antidumping and how to deal with antidumping against China from other countries. This article intends to put the problems of antidumping in China into the international scale by means of comparative analysis, positive analysis and logical deduction. Furthermore, it presents some valuable suggestions on the basis of the international comparison concerning the systems and practices of antidumping.The dissertation consists of four main parts. Chapter 1 introduces the background and thoughts of the topic and explains the basic meaning of dumping and antidumping. Chapter 2 analyses the impacts of antidumping on China's economy on the basis of the development and incentive of international antidumping. Then it lays stress on both negative and positive sides of the impacts. Chapter 3 makes international comparison of antidumping from the systems and practices and make known the relationships between WTO Antidumping Code and antidumping systems of respective countries. Then it points out the gaps of antidumping practices between China and other countries and compares to the conditions of antidumping against China with the latest data material. It will do great benefits to making a correct sense of China's antidumping issues. Chapter discusses the barriers in the understanding and practices of China's antidumping in the first place. In the second place, it puts forward some strategic propositions. Based on the analyses above. It contains three aspects: recomprending the China's antidumping, strengthening the function of government and improving the business ventures' ability of coping with lawsuits.
