The self-identity theory is one of the most important theories of Erik H. Erikson. He is a famous psychologist of America. The theory opens a fresh angle for us to explain in-depth the reason of the internal conflicts confronted by youth in their development of psychology. As a personality theory, the theory can give some reference meaning for the ideological and political education of youth of our country.
