Corporate Knowledge Management Project Implementation

Now mankind is on the threshold of a Knowledge-Based Economy. Corporations derive the most value from intellectual and knowledge-based assets rather than from physical assets. Facing the dramatic changes and unpredictability in the environment,knowledge is the only sustaining source of corporation competitive advantage. Knowledge Management has a big deal for corporation.Knowledge Management is a complex subject； it involves a wide variety of disciplines that explore organizational structure,organizational culture and information technology etc. This thesis mainly discusses how to utilize and improve organizational environment in the implementation of the Knowledge Management Project and also offers the model of Knowledge Management.The thesis consists of two parts. The first part focuses on the fundamentals theory of Knowledge Management. The second part is about an instance of Document Management System. Document Management is a good beginning of the implementation of the Knowledge Management Project in the corporation because of its foundation for Knowledge Management and adaptive to different organization environment.
