Environmental Management System In The Eco-tourism

Since ISO-14000 environmental management standards had been published．many organizations began to establish their environmental managementsystem,implementing of ISO-14000．However,few reports on implementationof ISO-14000 in a tourism site have been found． The purpose of thiS thesiS iS to make out how to establish anenvironmental management system based on ISO-14000． Almost all organizations,USing ISO-14000,mainly focus on theirinternal envirOnmental factors rather than their external environmentalfactors．Actually the later are alSO important and should be paid greatattention to,especially for the tourism industry．An important characterfor the tourism industry iS that many"outside"tourists visiting atourism Site could pose an important environmental impact on the Siteinternally,which may not be happened in the other industries,I suppose． This study focuses on both internal and external environmentalfactors．ThiS thesiS iS composed of 3 parts: 1．introducing the basic knowledges of ecotourism and environmentalmanagement system． 2．analysing how to establish an environmental management system ina tourism site based on ISO-14000． 3．introducing some cases of ecotouri sm in the world and giving someadvice on developing ecotourism in China and some suggestion for the laterresearch．...
