The research of Freedom of Movement is a complicated job. It involves many other science fields such as sociology, politics, economics etc. In China, it is mostly about the problem of equality. So, this thesis is all about the national freedom of movement. It contends three parts.The first part is the contents of freedom of movement. First, the definition is given by the author. Then it argues the nature and the legal status of freedom of movement. It belongs to the scope of personal liberty and is somewhat related to the social and economic activity. In reality, it is a kind of constitutional right. After that, it gives the three different contents that should be concluded in the freedom of movement.The second part explains the history of freedom of movement and takes a comparative study of it. First, it explains the history of freedom of movement. To china, it's an outer product and it comes with the right of personal liberty. As to the comparative study, freedom of movement has many different forms of regulations and performance in other countries. Anyhow, people can enjoy it in reality. Then, the thesis explains the regulations in international human rights conventions.The third part is the key part in this thesis. It's about the realization of the freedom of movement in China. First, it mainly focuses on the reform of the system of huji. Then, it analyses the good and bad factors of the realization of freedom of movement. After that, it analyses the rescue of civil law. No rescue, no rights. The freedom of movement in China is mainly guarantied by civil law as a kind of personal liberty. At last, legislative suggestions are given by the author.
