The Tr Company Management Issues And Measures

TR is a state-owned investment corporation whose main business is to do long-term equity investments. Through the analysis of its business process and return of project investment, it is found that there are five big problems in its business administration. Firstly, TR has a very fragile marketing ability. Secondly, TR capital cost and structure are unreasonable. Thirdly, the liquidity of TR asset is undesirable. Fourthly, the research reports of the implemented projects are worthless, surface works, which lack scientific measures and methods in market and finance analysis. Fifthly, TR urgently needs professionals or talents in finance, marketing, management and so on.The author believes that the incompleteness of the contracts and the innate flaw of TR corporate governance structure (namely that there aren't real owners in TR corporate governance structure) are the two main causes of these five problems. Unfortunately, neither of these two causes, according to the agency theory and the actual situation of china, can be thoroughly eliminated. So what can be done now is only to partly solve TR management problems. In this case the author proposes some problem-solving strategies in the positions of managers and employees, for in the light of state-contingent ownership theory they are also owners just as stockholders do. The strategies are as follows:The strategy one is to establish or improve TR various rules and regulations.The strategy two is to work hard on human resource management.The strategy three is to adjust TR businesses.The strategy four is to develop TR management information system.
