The enormous function of the small and medium-sized enterprise is paid attention to by personages of various circles day by day, and the embarrassment of the small and medium-sized enterprise and his financing difficulty come into being the focus. This thesis tries to analyze this problem and is composed of four parts as follows:The first part covers the fundamental concept of the small and medium-sized enterprise firstly, and then it analyzes the position of small and medium-sized enterprise in economy development. Thirdly it points out that his financing difficulty is the biggest embarrassment in the development of small and medium-sized enterprise, lastly, this chapter analyzes the difference of the financing systems of small and medium-sized enterprise between American and Japan.The second part analyzes the present situation of small and medium-sized enterprise's financing from the financing structure, financing channels and means, then points out the existing problems of small and medium-sized enterprise's financing.The third part analyzes the deep reasons that cause the financing difficulty of small and medium-sized enterprise and points out that there are many factors causing the financing difficulty. This paper analyzes the causes from the angles of enterprises themselves, indirect financing channels, direct financing channels and financing services offered by government deeply.The fourth part puts forward some counter measures in consideration of current situations. Firstly, the small and medium-sized enterprises should improve themselves; secondly, we should develop the medium and small financial institution fully; thirdly, we should extend the channels of direct financing and build a multiple capital market; lastly, the government should improve law and social credit system and improve the security system for the credit ability of small and medium-sized enterprises.
