When we look at the world at the end of the 20th century, multinational corporations, with their advantages in capital, technology and management, have become the main driving fore for a country in terms of scrambling for the international market and directly embody its international competitiveness. The influence of multinational corporations is everywhere, infiltrating into the political, economic and cultural fields of the world. And to a great extent, multinational corporations will become the core force in allocating resources worldwide in the new century.Being a developing country, China will face challenges in two aspects in order to remain invincible in the increasingly intense international competition, that is, to realize the modernization of the national economy by implementing political and economic restructuring, and to participating the economic globalization as well. In this regard, the only efficient way is opening up to the outside, attracting foreign multinational corporations to invest in China and utilizing the advanced technology and managerial experience brought in by the foreign capital. But it is also obvious that the nature of multinational corporations is to pursue high profits, thus theirs strategical purpose for their investment in China will have dishamony with China's long-term economic development. This difference has been endangering China's partial economic security.In Chapter One and Chapter Two, there are brief analysis on theories about multinational corporations and their development, and characteristics of national economic security. And Based on an analysis of the influences of multinational corporations on world economic and political environment in Chapter Three, combined with an expatiation on historical and present development of multinatioh corporations' investment in China in Chapter Four, Chapter five analyzes their impacts on China's economic security. Besides, this chapter defines that China's economic security state is now at a disadvantage under those impacts of multinational corporations, and it is very necessary for government to attach more attentions to the control over foreign multinational corporations and the development of domestic multinational corporations.
