Choice Of The Implementation Of Knowledge Management And Organizational Structure

Based on the discussion of the management change due to the societal, economic and technical change, this article analyses the importance of the change of organization structure and the necessity of the implementation of knowledge management by correlating them together. After analyzing the factors influencing the organization structure and the main types of the organization structure according to the traditional organization structure theory, this article illuminates how different organization structure can be used to help the implementation of knowledge management. It points out the trend of the organization structure is to be more decentralized, more flat and more creative. It also regards the net-organization as the trend for inter-organizational relationship and discusses the learning organization. The collection of the organization structure fitting in with the implementation of knowledge management in practice can be used as examples for organizations to refer to. This article also emphasizes the importance of changing the organization structure to implement knowledge management step by step.
