Village in the city is a kind of new urbanism problem. Due to all kinds of causes, the process appears disproportion and the problems of Village in the city have arisen in many cities in varying degrees. Village in the city is the areas where it was rural area but when the city expands, the land was taken over for city use and there is no the farming fields left. Because city community management system and management system of village do not fit, the plan, construction and management of village in the city are in disorderly and low horizontal state for a long period. Along with the economic development and the raising of people's living standard, the problems of urban village are stressed increasingly, which are seriously affecting the urban economy and development, so it is necessity to carry out transformation for the village in the city.The transformation of urban village is a great, complex work. It involves many different factors such as economy, society, culture and politics. It concerns village collective, village people, government and real estate promoter. Now, the study about the urban village's transformation isn't rich, many problems need to be studied and to be solved. Based on this reason, I plan to study the problems about urban village reform. I hope to offer my opinions and suggestions for the transformation.At first, I study the reason, history, major problems, and its developing tendency. Second, I study the theories of village transformation in domestic and international. On this foundation, I put my heart on the removal, the compensation with settling, the land reform, the changing from village people to resident, the changing from village to community, the changing from collective economy to the share-holding system economic, finance. I hope to find its problems and give my countermeasures.As a result, I get some new innovations, such as :1, I put forward a new method about compensation according to market price; 2, I agree to resolve peasant's removal problem with carrot and strong policy, 3 , I suggest that the collective land not farming but construction directly appears on the market; 4, I advise that the changing from village to community should leap neighborhood committee and direct to the community committee; 5, I advise that we can turn removal compensation money to stock; 6, I suggest that we can use the 'BOT' way to attract the real estate promoter in transform.
