Production Logistics Lean Management Model

With the combination of Chinese economic and world economic, more and more world famous manufacturers come in China to build plants attracted by its huge market and labor advantage, so Chinese manufacturers face the intense competition. The difference of management level will make Chinese manufacturers in the hot water. We can't do nothing but promote our company management level. As an advanced management philosophy, Lean management is worthy to be learned by Chinese companies, especially for manufacturers.The study object of this article is the manufacturers, especially for the large scale manufacturers that own parts suppliers. The study focus is the lean management mode for production logistic. By the mode, this article shows that how to apply the lean philosophy in the management of manufacturers.To the frame, this article can be divided into four parts, which follow the logical order: putting forward question, analyzing question and solving question. First part introduces the definition of production logistic and lean philosophy, and puts forward the main questions to be solved for the lean management in the production logistic. Second part analyzes the reasons for the lean management in the production logistic from the points of market, cost and management. The last two parts discuss how to implement the lean management in the production logistic. Third part mainly discusses the mode of lean management in production logistic. Forth part discusses how to assure the implementation of lean management in production logistic from the following aspects: philosophy assurance, quality assurance and institution assurance.The research method of this article is the combination of theory and practice. Before the writing, I had worked in the company which provides SGM with the logistic service for half a year. During the period, I collected abundant first-hand information and materials through the practical work with the word famouscompany. Combination with the theory of lean production, operation management and logistic management, I get a profound understanding on the lean management in production logistic management.About the innovation, though some partial modes or philosophy don't be put forward first, the whole mode is an innovation. Especially the mode for eliminating the waste of parts packages, there is no mature case in China both in theory and in practice.Besides that the mode can be an instruction on the production logistic management, the lean philosophy, embodied in the mode, also is expected to be accepted by Chinese manufacturers. Lean philosophy can help Chinese company make management foundation to meet the market challenge and compete with global companies.
