Beijing Exhibition Industry International Competitiveness

Meeting, conference and exposition industry (MCE for short) is considered as an important part of economy by more and more countries because both economy and society can benefit from it greatly. MCE industry brought huge profit and fast economy development to many famous cities, such as Munich, New York, Paris, Singapore and Hong Kong.Many countries' attention is focused on the contribution of the new born industry to information exchange, commodity trade, technology communication and investment.Because Beijing is the politics, culture and international intercourse center of China, MCE industry in Beijing is playing an important role in the whole country economy and it will develop at a high speed in the several coming year. Entering the WTO and the 2008 Olympic Games will make Beijing face a great number of both opportunities and challenges.How to fulfill the goal declared by Beijing government to make Beijing a center city of international MCE industry?
