This thesis is aimed to discuss the measurement of human resource value(HRV). With a review of documents on hand and summing-up of previous research, this paper gives a detailed explanation of the measurement of HRV. Generally speaking, it can be separated into four parts as following. The first part states briefly the research significance of the measurement of HRV. The second part evaluates and classifies the concept of HRV. The part analyzes the key factors of the measurement of the human resources and the influence of the particularity of the estimation on the methods, after clarifying the background of the measurement of the human resource and its importance. The third part expounds the specific content and estimating pattern of two basic estimating methods, namely, the cost method and the future expected revenue method. The fourth part compares and analyzes two estimating methods of the human resources, from a wide range of perspectives. The part puts forward the improvements on the basis of the summarization. Finally, the paper comes up with its own opinions in the aspects of feasibility, necessity and operation in the light of the present problems existing in the estimating methods of the human resources.
