Reusable Model Library System In The Project Evaluation

The models of investment projects are widely known. Although some achievements have been got, it is short of common model base to solve investment projects, which leads decision-makers to make wrong decisions.With the increasingly application of DSS (Decision Support System) technology in decision-making activities for national economic sections, DSS as a new subject, is gaining its fast development. It is under the support of model base that DSS can work effectively, hence, model base has become bottleneck of DSS. Therefore, the researchers have made further studies on model base in DSS and got much achievements by means of introducing object-oriented and problem-oriented techniques to model base system. All those efforts, however, still couldn't solve principal problems.Considering many models and facilitating the decision-makers of investments, the paper puts forward a reusable model base system on the basis of summarizing former studies. In detail, the paper's studies mainly revolve around four points as follows.Firstly, the model base collects many models to solve investment projects by way of classifying the models in four kinds: forecasting , optimization, evaluation and calculation. Secondly, according to the study of all kinds of model structures, a reusable system structure of DSS is given based on the model object base and its dynamic management system by means of reusable techniques and the paper discusses the two kinds of model reuse detailed. Thirdly, the paper introduces the way to realize it, and the system offers harmonious interface to decision-makers to shake off lacking easy useable methods. Finally, the application on the evaluation of investment projects based on reusable model base system is introduced ,AHP as an example.
