Development Of Urban Culture Based On Scientific And Technological Progress

According to summarized three traditional historic city culture modes: agricultural city culture mode, mercantile city culture mode as well as industrial city culture mode which ordered appear in the human development process, based on the analysis of the value and the limitation which were inner all three modes, this article had researched the interaction between the city culture and the advancement of science and technology, discussed the tendency of development of new city culture mode of science and technology under the worldwide circumstances of fast proceeding of science and technology as well as the globalization.Furthermore, after reviewing the history of Chinese city culture, analyzing the influence and the impact which western culture added on our city culture, aimed at the presence of Chinese city culture, this article showed the view point of its own, which concern about the direction and extent as well as the real motivation of irresistible tendency on transition of Chinese city culture.
