Software Intellectual Property Protection

Computer Software is a type of intelligence products, the tort is serious to it because of its easy duplicate. The piracy is one of the main tort forms; it has caused enormous losses to the enterprises and has harmed the development of software industrial. That makes the protection for software intelligence property outstandingly. This article studied the problem from the aspect of law and technology, and the latter is major. On the aspect of legal, common problems are studied and policies are given for better protection of the software intelligence property; On the aspect of technology, basic technologies and its implementation for the software protection is studied, and some common software for software protection are analyzed, and the ideal technical scheme for software protection has been proposed. On the basis of these researches, a new technical scheme based on public key for software protection are proposed and its algorithm is also given showing in pseudo code. Finally, a integrated software encrypt system named XGuard is built and has been implemented by programming language.
