On Jiang Zemin's Thinking On Building Socialist Political Civilization

Maxism tells us that human society is the organic combination of economy, politics and culture.Accordingly ,human society's cultivation should include material ,political and spiritual cultivation.Since reform and opening policy was taken,the second leadership core centered on Deng xiaoping had put forward the theory of "Two civilization"(material and spiritual) from the strategic point of view, and had been taking effort in probing construction and perfection of socialist democratic politics.Jiang Zemin promoted social democratic polictics to the height of socialist political civilization basing on the former achievements.In the history of our party,it is the first time to put forward the idea of polictical cicilization,thus Maxism content was renewed and socialist civilization system was perfected.Afterwards,Jiang zemin proposed the idea of "socialist political civilization construction".Especially at the our party's 16th conference, constructing socialist political civilization was considered for the first time as the developing aim of the socialist modernization as well as the material civilization.At the same time ,the fundamental requirements,duty and aim was stated in Jiang zemin's report,thus the systematic Jiang zemin socialist political civilization idea was formed.Jiang zemin 's thought on socialist polictics civilization cultivation has important theorectical and partical meaning to China featured socialism. It deepens the knowledge of socialist democratic politics and points out our the orientation of democratic political construction and political system reform.
