By using the theories and methods of tourism science .economics, urban science, statistics and nonlinear science, the author defines the tourist cities' spatial competition and tourism competitive power of urban tourism .And it also discussed the dynamic cause in the deepened hierarchy for spatial competition among tourist cities. It defined the concept of urban toiirist competition power. According to some principles, index system of competitive power of urban tourism is set up and explained every index system. At last, making 9 excellent tourism urban for example, and analysed the tourism compositive competition power of the excellent tourist urban cities by factor and hierarchical cluster analysis.This thesis Consists of six Parts.Part one is the preface. The frame of the thesis .include the purport, the theory, the method and so on.Part two is the research progresses of urban tourism and the spatial competition of the tourism urban cities at home and abroad. Defining the concept of the spatial competition of tourism urban and depicting the model and character of the spatial competition between the tourism urban cities.Part there is the research of the nonlinear explanation and analysis to the tourism cities' spatial competition . Based on the nonlinear dynamics, this paper discusses the dynamic cause in the deepened hierarchy for spatial competition among tourist cities and builds up a dynamic model. It states that the spatial competition can be expressed by the change of the tourist' s numbers.Part four is the research in the dynamic factor system of spatial competition.Part five is the research of spatial competition of 9 excellent tourism urban cities in Jang Su province .Part six is the conclusion.
