The Applied Research Based On GIS In Tourism Resource's Exploitation And Programme

Tourism has developed rapidly in the past decades. It is the tourists' demand and the tourism resource's attraction that make tourism develop. Therefore, rational and scientific method, which helps to improve the attraction of tourism resources and maintain the sustainable development of the tourism district, is important.GIS, which is able to manage and analyze spatial and attribute data, is scarcely used in tourism resources' exploitment and programme. But there is amount of spatial data and information in tourism resouces'exploitment and programme, so it is necessary and feasible to analyze spatial data by GIS. This article attempts to apply GIS to tourism resouces' exploitment and programme, and there are five parts .Chapter one: the procedure of tourism resources' exploitment and programme for the moment. For example, the investment and evaluate of tourism resources, the modle of tourism resources'exploitment ,the complication of general planning and so on. This part is the basis of this article.Chapter two: the predominance of the use of GIS in tourism resources' exploitment and programme. There are three components in this part. First, the definination, funtion, components of GIS. Second, the predominance of the use of GIS in tourism resources' exploitment and programme. Third, the introduction of GIS software - Maplnfo.Chapter three: the application of GIS in tourism resources' exploitment and programme. This part discusses in detail how GIS is used in tourism resources' exploitment and programme. Based on chapter two, it researches into primarily the following aspects by GIS: the collection of tourism resources' data and the foundation of database, the evaluate of tourism resources, the designation of the maps in tourism resources' exploitment and programme, the query of tourism information and so on.
