In venture capital investment, high profit goes along with high risk. How to enhance the accuracy for project selection and lower the risk at the same time becomes a very important question. To some extend, the selection of project determines the success of venture capital investment. So the study of venture capital investment project deserves more and more attention.The main content of this paper is to study the selection model for venture capital investment project, in order to find a useful method to solve the project selection problem, which will do help to the decision making in venture capital investment. The paper consists of three parts.The first part mainly focuses on the basis theory study on venture capital investment, such as the concept, operation, decision-making, etc.The second part offers the new way to evaluate the risk and profit. From the perspective of the feature of venture capital investment project, this paper separates complex risk into simply risk factors and designs a project risk assessment index system. Then it builds a venture capital investment project risk assessment model on Fuzzy Mathematics integrated method and solve the problem of project risk assessment. Meanwhile, this paper uses the main-factor analysis method to evaluate the benefit of venture capital investment project from five index, which also solves the problem of the assessment of project benefit.On the basis of first and second part, the third part puts forward the selection model for venture capital investment project, considering the investor's decision-making hobby, with the use of TOPSIS method. The selection model will do great help to the decision making of venture capital investment.
