Sichuan Jiaohua Group is a big state-owned company in Zigong city,Sichuan province. It was transformed into a corporate company on the base of Zigong Jiaohua Factory. These years,competition in the coal industry has become fiercer and some new trends and situations have emerged. In order to guide the company ,the article tries to offer an overall strategy for it as well as some specific suggestions and advices.In chapter 1, the background and existing problems of the company are presented.In order to let readers have a better understanding of the article,the author gives his intention to write the thesis.In chapter 2, the present situation is analysed from four points of view including a SWOT analysis, an analysis of product structure ,of managerial level and of corporate culture.In chapter 3, the overall strategy is brought out for the coming years from year 2005 to 2010.In chapter 4 , the author discusses three sub-strategies,ie,strategy of product adjustment and development, of organizational regulations and management, of molding the corporate culture. The three sub-strategies are interrelated and serve the same overall strategy and corporate objective.At the same time ,some specific measures and methods are offered for fulfilling the overall strategy between year 2005 to 2010. In order to make the sub-strategies more pratical,suggestions and advices are brought out for each sub-strategy.
